From our birth until the top of the world of magnetic equipment: this is our story
1990 The origins
Over 25 years ago we start the production of magnetic equipment as suppliers of other companies.
The brand is not yet GIDA, but the technology and spirit are already ours.
1993 The production widens
Production of the first beams for steel mills, for lifting rods and bundles.
1996 The headquarters
Acquisition of the current production site in Pompiano (Brescia).
2002 Growth
The Sapp group enters the GI-DA capital.
2005 The birth of a prestigious brand
We enter the world of magnetic equipment with our brand: GI-DA becomes synonymous of quality magnetic equipment.
2012 Expansion
While GI-DA becomes a winning brand on the international market, the production site expands to allow the new production volumes.
2014 Further growth
The growth of the company requires a further expansion of production space: a new building of 2000m2 with 2x50 Ton cranes is added to the production site.
2016 A new world
The acquisition of the magnets business line from LGR srl brings us into the sector of magnets for mobile applications.
2018 A new venue
With the move to the new venue in Via Lavini, just 500 meters from the historic headquarters in Via Buonarroti, more space is available for the needs of a growing staff and strong base is created for further growth.
